I am a Colorado licensed Certified Public Accountant that specializes in working with small businesses, self-employed and individuals.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Masters in Professional Accountancy with an emphasis in taxation from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
I completed my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas.
I am also a QuickBooks Pro-Advisor for Online and Desktop.
So in a nutshell, I work with individuals, families and small privately-owned businesses with up to 20 employees. I consider myself a student of small business entrepreneurship and I am passionate about helping small business owners -- solo-preneurs, sole proprietors, and micro businesses succeed. I feel that I am able to take my knowledge, skills and experience and work with small business owners to help them realize their dreams and their own personal priorities.
My primary focus is helping my clients get the lowest possible tax payment amount allowed by law. Before becoming a CPA, I worked for 20+ years in a variety of industries around the Denver Metro area including retail, wholesale, manufacturing and financial services. I can view your tax issues from an experienced point of view as a CPA, and business person.
As a parent of 4 grown children and grandparent of 1 I understand the time constraints in balancing family-time with business-time. My value proposition is that I provide you with professional level service and guidance at fair small business and family friendly pricing.
When I am not working with my clients to reduce their tax, bookkeeping and accounting paperwork , I enjoy spending time with my four children, my new granddaughter and enjoying Colorado’s scenic beauty. I also consider myself to be extremely blessed to have the privilege of a family and to do what I love.
